Algunos Looks de Invierno // Some winter looks

Hola a todos!, estuve un tiempo sin postear ya que tuve estudiando porque rendi exámenes en la facultad. Pero bueno, después de esta ausencia les traigo un nuevo post con algunos outfits que use este invierno y que fui subiendo a instagram. 

La realidad es que este blog lo arme con la intención de que las personas que me leen vean que no es necesario tener un super armario para armar conjuntos que funcionan sino usar lo que ya tenemos y adapar nuevas compras para que sean funcionales a estos items en nuestro placard. Tampoco es necesario comprar TODAS las prendas que son tendencia cada temporada sino solo lo que nos queda bien. En fin el lema que utilizamos en este blog es Moda real y de todos los días para personas reales.

Con esto dicho, les cuento que evalue mucho si subir las fotos o no ya que tengo un problemita de timidez pero finalmente me decidi y quiero compartir con ustedes estas ideas para todos los días, quizas les da ideas de como adapatar prendas a sus looks diarios.

Hi everyone! , I spent some time without posting since I had to study for exams in college. Anyway, after this absence I bring you a new post with some outfits I wore this winter and I uploaded to instagram .The reality is that I put this blog together with the intention that people who read me see that you do not need a super closet to put together outfits that work but to use what you already have and adapt new purchases to be functional to these items in our closet. Nor is it necessary to buy ALL the clothes that are trend every season but only what looks good on us. This blog mantra is fashion for real people.With that said, I tell you that took me some time to upload photos or not because I have a little problem with shyness but I finally decided that I want to share these every day ideas to you, maybe this outfits give you ideas of how to adapt your clothes to every day looks  .Hope you like this post and I´d love what you have to say. New In N°3: May Buys

Hola a todos, después de un tiempo largo sin postear por razones de fuerza mayor, hoy les quiero mostrar mis compras del mes de Mayo. Mi idea es al menos una vez por mes mostrarles lo que compre el mes anterior. No todas las compras que vean van a ser de locales de renombre conocido sino que también me gusta mucho meterme en los locales que no son tan conocidos, ya que por lo general siempre algo consigo y la realidad es que las cosas no son tan caras como en los locales de un shopping. Me gusta poder darles todas las opciones y que ustedes elijan lo que mejor se adapte a su bolsillo y a su gusto, ya que no todas las personas pueden darse el lujo de vestirse con ropa de renombre. Vamos a empezar con mis compras del mes de Mayo. Diganme qué les parece?. Acerte?. Hay algo que no hubiesen comprado?. Me encataria leer que piensan con respecto a esta idea de también mostrarles ropa un poco más accesible.

Fashionista People That Inspires #2 : Kathy Stryzak de Cosas de Lady Diva.

Hoy les traigo una nueva blogger para que conozcan, Kathya Stryzak de Cosas de Lady Diva. En el blog de Kathy (como me gusta decirle) van a poder encontrar reseñas de todo tipo, pero para mi ella es una experta en el ambito de los "beauty products". 

Recuerdo que la primera vez que la conocí, nos tomamos un cafe en starbucks y después fuimos a farmacity y chusmeamos de todo un poco, y mi primera impresión sobre ella fue, no puede ser más encantadora, senti que realmente siente pasión por lo que hace, le gusta, lo disfruta, y si te puede dar una mano, no lo duda. Y (siendo muy nueva en esto de escribir sobre moda y belleza) pensé, estaria bueno encontrarte con más gente de este tipo, gente que empezó esto sin un objetivo claro, solo porque lo disfruta, y sin maldad.
Yo realmente creo que en este "ambito" hay lugar para todas, y Kathy es de esas personas que también cree lo mismo, como muchas otras bloggers que ya les ire presentando.

Si tienen alguna duda sobre que cremas funcionan y cuales es mejor dejarlas de lado, ó que make up realmente vale la pena comprar ó simplemente les gusta leer sobre belleza y aprender tips nuevos que seguramente apliquen a su vida diaria, el blog de Kathy (Cosas de Lady Diva) es el indicado.

Fue por una apuesta con mi marido...el hablaba que antes no llevaba un proyecto mio por mas de 3 meses...bueno..el blog ya tiene 3 años!

Fashion Video N°1: Abercrombie & Fitch guys Call Me Maybe.

Hola!. Que bueno que ya empieza el fin de semana no y para empezarlo genial y de muy buen humor les dejo una parodia de la canción Call me maybe de Carly Rae Jepsen por los modelos de Abercrombien & Fitch, muy graciosa y de paso también aprovecho para inagurar esta nueva sección en el blog "Fashion Videos", en la cual voy a estar subiendo videos de las nuevas colecciones de los diseñadores y videos como el que hoy uso para inagurar la sección. HBO Specials: Life´s but a dream by Beyonce.

Hoy les quiero mostrar el trailer del documental que hizo HBO con Beyonce llamado La vida es un sueño. Este documental esta integramente filmado por Beyonce y muestra como es la vida de una de las cantantes más exitosas del mundo, pero aparte de esto también muestra a la cantante como persona, que siente, que piensa, su embarazo, su vida.

Si mi humilde opinión de algo sirve, creo que es un documental que vale la pena ver. Personalmente Beyonce es una de mis cantantes favoritas, creo que esta a la altura de Divas como Withney Houston o de iconos como Michael Jackson, y en cuanto a la moda es una de las pocas personas que creo que la palabra Fashion Icon le queda perfecta.

Asi que espero que el trailer les guste como para querer ver el documental entero que saldra al aire el 16 de Febrero por HBO.

Today I want to show you the trailer that HBO made with Beyonce called Life´s but a dream. This documentary is filmed entirely by Beyonce and shows how is the life of one of the most successful singers in the world, but this also shows the singer as a person, how she feels, thinks, her pregnancy, her real life.

If my humble opinion's worth, I think it's a documentary worth watching. Personally Beyonce is one of my favorite singers, I believe she can be compare with divas like Whitney Houston or music icons like Michael Jackson, and when it comes to fashion is one of the few people who I think the word Fashion Icon fits perfectly.

So I hope you like the trailer that much to make you want to see the entire documentary that will air on February 16 on HBO.

Beauty Report #1: Body Care / Cuidado del cuerpo

Bueno antes de comenzar a postear mis outfits diaros (todavia estoy tomando coraje para animarme jaja) quiero hacerles una recomendación sobre cremas hidratantes.

La realidad es que con el verano la piel se reseca más entonces lo ideal es hidratarla cuantas veces sea posible. Yo mi piel la hidrato por la noche luego de mi ducha diaria antes de ir a dormir pero sentia la necesidad de hidratarla tambuén por la mañana, el problema es que yo tengo piel sensible, por ende no puedo usar cualquier crema hidratante. Mi dermatologa me recomendo que compre Lipikar Lait de La Roche Posay, si bien es una excelente crema corporal, hiper hidratante tiene el pequeño defecto que tarda bastante en absorverse y si bien por la noche no tengo apuro en irme a dormir y puedo esperar que se absorva, por la mañana necesito hidratar la piel y poder vestirme en menos de veinte minutos y hasta ahora todas las cremas que habia probado tardaban muchisimo tiempo en absorverse y no dejaban a piel tan bien como la crema de La Roche Posay (y creanme que he probado muchisimas) la que más se asemejaba a esta necesidad de que se absorviese rápido era una de St. Ives, pero tampoco me convencia. Un día buscando encontre en mi cajón donde guardo los maquillajes, una muestra que me habian mandado de la crema hidratante de Hinds en su versión con Verbena, cuando abri la tapita el aroma era increiblemente lindo, y me dije a mi misma "porqué no darle una oportunidad?". Asi es como esa noche decidí usarla y el resultado me sorprendió para bien. Mientras la aplicaba sentia una sensación de frescura increible en la piel y el aroma era bellisimo, pero el reto era que se absorviese rápido, sin mucha expectativa, me sorprendí cuando en menos de cinco minutos la crema se habia absorvido por completo dejando en mi piel un riquisimo aroma, una sensación increible de frescura y una suavidad perfecta, y en la primera aplicación.

Asi que por todo esto, sentí que era apropiado recomendarles que si pueden la compren y la usen, ya que no se van a arrepentir.

Y por favor si la compran o ya la probaron por favor cuentenme que les pareció.

Hinds Verbena

 

Well before I start posting my daily outfits (still finding the courage to do it haha) I want to make a recommendation on moisturizers.

The reality is that with summer our skin is dryer than ever so the best is to moisturize whenever is possible. I moisturize my skin at night after my daily shower before going to bed but I felt the need of moisturizing when I wake up too, the problem is that I have sensitive skin, therefore I can not use any moisturizer. My dermatologist recommended me to buy Lipikar Lait by La Roche Posay, while it is an excellent body lotion moisturizer it has a small defect that takes quite a while to get dry and at night I have no hurry to go to sleep and I can wait for it to get dry, in the morning I need to moisturize my skin and get dress in less than twenty minutes, and so far all the moisturizers I had tried took a lot of time to get dry and did not left my skin as well as La Roche Posay moisturizer (and believe me I tried many of them) the one that most resembled this need was one moisturizer from St. Ives, but not it didn´t convinced me.  

One day I  looking in my make up drawer, I found I had a sample of Hinds moisturizer in its version with Verbena, when I opened the cap the smell was incredibly cute, and I thought to myself "why not to give it an opportunity? ". That's how I decided to use it that night and the result surprised me for good. While applying a fresh feeling felt amazing on the skin and the smell was beautiful, but the challenge was that it had to get dry fast, without much expectation, I was surprised when in less than five minutes the cream was complete dry leaving in my skin a a beautiful scent, an incredible feeling of freshness and a perfect smoothness in the first application.

So for all this, I felt it was appropriate to recommend it, so if you can buy it and use it, because I´m sure you will not regret it.

Bueno, último post del año. Espero que hayan tenido un muy buen 2012, que la mayoria o todos sus proyectos se hayan cumplido y esos que no se cumplieron tienen todo el año que viene para que se hagan realidad.
Yo por mi parte, si me pongo a hacer un balance he tenido un muy buen 2012, y espero que el 2013 sea mejor.
Por favor, no se olviden de decirle a las personas que son importantes para cada uno de ustedes, cuanto los quieren, de abrazarlos fuertes, y de vivir y disfrutar que es lo más importante.
Espero que tengan un 2013 lleno de cosas buenas y de mucho amor y paz que es muy importante.

Espero que tengan una ,muy feliz navidad rodeados de toda la gente que quieren y los quiere!. Hoy después de las doce cuando brindemos, hagamoslo deseando no solo que todos nuestros deseos se cumplan sino también que los deseos de esos que no son tan afortunados como nosotros también se cumplan.

Gwen Stefani para Vogue US

La primer portada de Vogue 2013 o como toda fashionista la llama "La biblia de la moda", tendra como figura a Gwen Stefani. Aparte de ser la bellisima cantante de No doubt también es diseñadora de modas, su marca L.A.M.B, la inició en 2011, según ella porque sabia que su carrera musical en algún momento iba a llegar a su final. Quien lo imaginaria no?, con lo talentosa que es y la hermosisima voz que tiene.

Gwen Stefani fue fotografiada por Annie Leibovitz y lució la nueva colección Spring 2013 de Heidi Slimane para Saint Laurent, con zapatos de su propia marca L.A.M.B.

Diganme si no es una portada bellisima, a mi opinión una de mis portadas favoritas de VOGUE US.

Besides she´s the gorgeous singer of No Doubt, is also a fashion designer for L.A.M.B, clothing line she started in 2011, because according to her, at some point her music career will come to an end. Who could imagine it right?. she´s so talented and has a gorgeous Voice.

Black XS: The Excessive Sessions: Part II.

Lo prometido es deuda, tarde porque estuve un poco ocupada con algunas cosas del trabajo y algun que otro evento, pero aca les traigo la segunda parte de The Excessive Sessions: Part II: Ellie Goulding.

Esta vez el mini recital se hizo en la mansión Carmen, en el corazón del distrito del famoso Mouling Rouge, en París, el 14 de Noviembre.

Unos pocos fueron los afortunados que pudieron asistir a  este mini recital, donde Ellie Gouding canto tres canciones: Lights, Anything could happen and Some nights, más la entrevista que le hizo la marca para crear el official movie para hacer la promoción del nuevo eslogan de la marca que esta vez es: Be A Rockstar.

I was a little busy with some work stuff and some social events, but better late than ever, here´s the second part of The Excessive Sessions: Part II: Ellie Goulding.

This time the scene takes place at Carmen mansion, at the heart of the famous Moulin Rouge district, in Paris on November 14th.

Black XS: The excessive Sessions: Part I.

Hoy les quiero mostrar la primer parte de The Excessive Sessions. Esto se inicia el 2 de Julio, para promocionar el perfume de Paco Rabanne Black XS, como motivo de su nuevo eslogan Be a Rockstar.

La idea fue juntar a unas pocas personas en una terraza en Manhattan, para un show exclusivo, donde en este caso Scissor Sisters canto tres canciones: Only the horsers, Baby come home y el cover de Pink Floyd Comfortable Numb y aparte de esto dieron una entrevista.

Me parece que la idea esta buena, original y fue bien llevada a cabo.

The idea was to gathered a few people, in a rooftop in Manhattan, to see an exclusive show, where, in this case, Scissors Sisters sang three songs: Only the horses, Baby come home and the cover of Pink Floyd´s song Comfortably Numb, they also gave an interview to made the Official Movie for the promotion of Black XS.

Hola!, Bienvenidos a mi blog, donde compartire desde mis outfits como recetas y decoración. Y me pareció muy apropiado como primer post mostrarles un avance de el nuevo documental de HBO que se llama The Editor´s Eye. Si les gusto The September Issue, no se lo pueden perder!.
